Americorps is a great way to get involved. It has a variety of ways to put your ideals into action. At 17 you may not have any idea what you want to do with your life and college may not be an option because of money. Americorps is a way to make money, build a resume, meet people that can help you in the future, help your community, and HELP YOU GET MONEY FOR COLLEGE.
Again a great option if your not sure what you want to do with your life, or need help earning money for school.
