Area of a Trapezoid:


Activity 1
1. Create a trapezoid
2. Divide the trapezoid into two triangles
3. Determine the area of both triangles.
4. Add the areas to determine the are of the trapezoid.

Activity 2
1. Create a trapezoid
2. Use the trapezoid formula to determine the area of a trapezoid.
A = (Base 1 + Base 2)H/2
